Method
Prep the pan
- Line a large sheet pan with parchment paper and spread the mini pretzel squares in a single layer with space between them.
Melt and coat with white chocolate
- Melt the white chocolate melting wafers in the microwave at 30-second intervals, stirring between each, until completely smooth and glossy.
- Spoon or drizzle white chocolate over each pretzel, covering the top while leaving the edges slightly visible as a thin chocolate layer.
Melt and drizzle red and blue
- Melt the red candy melts in the microwave using the same 30-second intervals, stirring between each, until fully melted and smooth.
- Melt the blue candy melts in the microwave using the same 30-second intervals, stirring between each, until fully melted and smooth.
- Drizzle the red and blue candy melts over the white chocolate-coated pretzels using a spoon or piping bag for visible streaks.
Finish and set
- Immediately scatter star sprinkles over each piece while the chocolate is still wet so they stick and look vivid.
- Let the pretzel bites set at room temperature for 30 minutes, or refrigerate for 10 minutes until fully set and firm to the touch.
- Break the pretzel bark bites apart and serve once the chocolate coating is set.
Notes
For the cleanest results, keep the white chocolate warm and stir until no lumps remain; if it thickens, microwave in 10-second bursts. Store covered in the refrigerator for up to 5 days (best texture); freezer: no, sprinkles may lose crispness when thawed. For a gluten-free swap, use gluten-free mini pretzel squares and follow the same coating and setting steps.
